Abstract
This present study refers to the details of internal partitions, the identification of the advantages and the disadvantages of each partition used, the cost of each partition and a comparison about the difference criteria that needs to be considered in order to select the right partition. Initially the study refers to the properties that each internal partition as well as their composition and selection criteria. Furthermore the internal partitions are categorized based on their mobility in three categories. The first category relates to the permanent partitions which are divided into heavy and light partitions. The second category concerns the movable partitions and it is divided into partitions that are from floor to ceiling and low partitions. Lastly the third category refers to the partitions that can be opened and closed. Moreover the study refers to the identification of different types of partitions, depending on their category, the analysis of some details in relation to their installation methods, the advantages and disadvantages of each type of partition and the cost determination when is possible. The cost of each partition identified is indicative and refers to a specific thickness. Additionally the study mentions the difference criteria that need to be considered in order to select the right partition and lastly conclusions are outlined.
