| dc.description | Introduction: Cardiac arrest is a usual phenomenon in both intrahospital and interhospital setting. Nurses usually are the first to understand when a cardiac arrest is occuring and they provide CPR to the patient. Aim: The investigation of nursing students' knowledge about CPR as well as the interventions which have an impact on knowledge and also in the long-term. Material and Method: A systematic research of bibliography was held without a time limit with the use of specific key words in the databases of PubMed, Cinahl and Google Scholar. The research was chosen according to predetermined inclusion/exclusion criteria. Results: Seven studies were included and the main findings were: a) low level of CPR knowledge, b) there was an important statistical increase in the level of students' knowledge when interventions were used, c) long-term knowledge is altered Conclusions: The small amount of studies and the methodological restrictions which are related to the sampling and the number of the participants in some of the studies make it difficult to generalise the results. However, there is a need for a continuous education of nursing students about CPR and also for conducting more research. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Η καρδιακή ανακοπή είναι ένα συχνό φαινόμενο τόσο ενδονοσοκομειακά όσο και εξωνοσοκομειακά. Οι νοσηλευτές συνήθως είναι οι πρώτοι που αντιλαμβάνονται μία ανακοπή και παρέχουν ΚΑΡΠΑ στον ασθενή. Σκοπός: Η διερεύνηση της γνώσης των φοιτητών νοσηλευτικής σχετικά με την ΚΑΡΠΑ καθώς και των παρεμβάσεων που έχουν επιρροή στα παραπάνω, ακόμη και σε βάθος χρόνου. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Πραγματοποιήθηκε συστηματική αναζήτηση της βιβλιογραφίας, χωρίς χρονικό περιορισμό και με συγκεκριμένες λέξεις κλειδιά στις βάσεις δεδομένων PubMed, Cinahl και Google Scholar. Οι μελέτες επιλέχθηκαν σύμφωνα με προκαθορισμένα κριτήρια ένταξης/αποκλεισμού. Αποτελέσματα: Συμπεριλήφθηκαν 7 μελέτες και τα κυριότερα ευρήματα ήταν: α) χαμηλό επίπεδο γνώσεων σχετικά με την ΚΑΡΠΑ, β) όπου χρησιμοποιήθηκαν παρεμβάσεις, αυξήθηκαν στατιστικά σημαντικά τα ποσοστά γνώσης των φοιτητών, γ) η γνώση σε βάθος χρόνου αλλοιώνεται. Συμπεράσματα: Ο μικρός αριθμός των μελετών καθώς και η ύπαρξη μεθοδολογικών περιορισμών που σχετίζονται με τη δειγματοληψία και τον αριθμό των συμμετεχόντων σε ορισμένες μελέτες δυσκολεύουν τη γενίκευση των αποτελεσμάτων. Παρόλα αυτά καταδεικνύεται η ανάγκη συνεχιζόμενης εκπαίδευσης των φοιτητών νοσηλευτικής στην ΚΑΡΠΑ καθώς και διεξαγωγής περισσότερων μελετών. | en_US |
