Είναι σημαντικό να γνωρίζουμε πώς μπορούν να προληφθούν και να μειωθούν όσο το δυνατό περισσότερο οι επιπλοκές και τα άτομα να επιστρέφουν φυσιολογικά πίσω στην καθημερινότητά τους. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας υπήρξε η διερεύνηση μερικών από τις συχνότερες μετεγχειρητικές επιπλοκές από την ολική αποκατάσταση ισχίου καθώς και του τι μπορούμε να κάνουμε για να τις αποφύγουμε ή τουλάχιστον να τις μειώσουμε σημαντικά. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η αναζήτηση σχετικής βιβλιογραφίας, ελληνικής και διεθνούς, σε δύο βάσεις δεδομένων (Google Scholar και PubMed) με λέξεις κλειδιά (“post-operation,postoperative”, “complications”, “Total Hip Rehabilitation surgery”, “Total Hip Arthroplasty” , “prevention” και “prolepsis”) σε όλους τους συνδυασμούς. Αποτελέσματα: Η αναζήτηση κατέληξε σε 10 μελέτες, κατά την περίοδο 2013-2021, που πληρούσαν τα κριτήρια αναζήτησης. Με την αναζήτηση της βιβλιογραφίας και την μελέτη των ερευνών αυτών, αποδεικνύεται ότι οι μετεγχειρητικές επιπλοκές από την ολική αποκατάσταση του ισχίου είναι συχνές και συνήθως αρκετά σοβαρές, παγκοσμίως, όμως προβλέψιμες και αντιμετωπίσιμες. Η πρόληψή τους είναι σημαντική και ζωτικής σημασίας για τους ασθενείς και για την συνέχιση μιας φυσιολογικής καθημερινότητας. Συμπεράσματα: Οι νοσηλευτές και γενικά οι επαγγελματίες υγείας της περιεγχειρητικής ομάδας οφείλουν να αναγνωρίζουν και να προλαμβάνουν τίς πιθανές επιπλοκές από την επέμβαση ολικής αρθροπλαστικής ισχίου και την έγκαιρη αντιμετώπισή τους. | Description: | Introduction: Post operation complications after a Total Hip Rehabilitation operation are considered a very usual phenomenon, especially concerning elderly people (people ≥ 65 years old). An important aspect is the prevention and the reduction of the complications of the THR operation, so the patients can return to their normal life and be able to function as they were before the operation. Aim: The aim of this study is to investigate the most frequent postoperative complications after a Total Hip Rehabilitation surgery, and the technique that can be applied to prevent and eliminate them. Material and Method: The methodology used in this study was the search of Greek and International relevant bibliography in two databases (Google Scholar and PubMed), with the keywords (“post-operation, postoperative”, “complications” “Total Hip Rehabilitation surgery”, “Total Hip Arthroplasty”, “prevention” and “prolepsis”) in multiple combinations. Results: This research used 10 studies, that were published during the period 2013-2021, and met the search criteria. After the study of the bibliography, we can prove that THR postoperative complications are ordinary, usually severe, and they occur worldwide. Nevertheless, those complications are preventable, treatable, and it is vital, as part of perioperative care, to ensure that the patients continue their lives as they were prior the operation.
