Ο 18ος και 19ος αιώνας αποτελούν μια επαναστατική περίοδο, κατά την οποία συντελέστηκαν σημαντικές μεταβολές σε κοινωνικό και πολιτικό επίπεδο. | Description: | The object of the work is the study of the iconography of the Greek struggle of liberation of 1821, by Greek and philhellenic foreign painters in the 19th century, and its contribution to the formation of modern Greek identity and the image of Greeks in the eyes of the Europeans. The 18th and 19th centuries were a revolutionary period, during which significant changes took place at the social and political level.
