Σκοπός της μελέτης αυτής, είναι η διερεύνηση των επιπτώσεων που έχει το κάπνισμα κατά την κύηση στην υγεία και ανάπτυξη των νεογνών. Μέθοδος: Πρόκειται για μια συστηματική ανασκόπηση. Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η αναζήτηση της διεθνού βιβλιογραφίας στις ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις δεδομένων Pubmed/ Medline, Cinahl και Google Scolar. Η αναζήτηση αυτή αφορούσε την περίοδο από το 2015 μέχρι και σήμερα. Για την ανεύρεση των άρθρων επιλέχθηκαν οι λέξεις κλειδιά «smoking during pregnancy», «side effects», «infants», «tobacco» με όλους τους πιθανούς συνδυασμούς χρησιμοποιώντας την εντολή AND. Τα κριτήρια επιλογής ήταν η Αγγλική γλώσσα, πρόσβαση σε ολόκληρο το κείμενο, ικανοποιητικό δείγμα και να απαντούν στο σκοπό της μελέτης αυτής. Αποτελέσματα: Στην ανασκόπηση αυτή συμπεριλήφθηκαν συνολικά 8 έρευνες. Οι 5 αφορούσαν την μειώση του σωματικού βάρους και μερικές από αυτές και την ανάπτυξη του εμβρύου. Το βάρος γέννησης του νεογνού φάνηκε πως μειωνόταν ανάλογα με τον αριθμό των τσιγάρων που καταναλώνονταν από την μητέρα, όπως επίσης και η μετέπειτα ανάπτυξή του. Επίσης, 2 μελέτες αφορούσαν την ανάπτυξη βρογχιολίτιδας όπου η μια έδειξε πως σχετίζεται το κάπνισμα σε μεγάλο βαθμό ενώ η άλλη δεν βρήκε στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά. Τέλος, φαίνεται πως επηρεάζεται και η γνωστική και γλωσσική ανάπτυξη του νεογνού καθώς και η φυσιολογία του στρες. Συμπέρασμα: Το κάπνισμα κατά την διάρκεια της εγκυμοσύνης, φαίνεται πως έχει αρκετές επιδράσεις και επιπτώσεις στο νεογνό σε αρκετούς τομείς. | Description: | In our days, a large percentage of women have the habit to smoke during the pregnancy, although they know that their actions can cause a lot of problems to them and the baby. The purpose of this study is the investigation of the consequences that smoking has on health and development of the baby. Method: The study is a systematic review. The method that has been used was the research of international bibliography from electronic database Pubmed/ Medline, Cinahl and Google Scholar. The research was about studies since 2015 and the key words that have been used were «smoking during pregnancy», «side effects», «infants», «tobacoo» with all the possible combinations using the word AND. The selection criteria were the English language, access to the whole article, satisfied number of specimen and the answers that were given was about the cause of the study. Results: In this review were included 8 studies in total. Five of them were about the reduction of body weight and some of them were about the development of the fetus. The body weight of the newborn baby was seemed to be decreasing depending on the number of cigarettes that the mother has consumed, as well and the subsequent development. Moreover, 2 of the studies were about the development of bronchiolitis and one of them showed a strong connection between those two. Although the other one hasn’t shown a statistically significant difference. Also, the smoking has some affects on the congitive and language development and the physiology of stress of the baby.
