Abstract
This thesis was created to study and design a cutting mold and modulator, with the help of mechanical design software, the "Solid works".A mold is particularly an important tool for a mechanical Engineer in the process of producing electronic boxes.At first the mold cutter cuts out the sheet in the shape needed.Secondly, the sheet enters a formative mold to get the final shape. This enables the automation of producing a high volume of electronic boxes.Necessary process in the manufacture of molds is the thermal hardening of metal parts by using the method of dyeing.It is worth mentioning that all three methods of heat treatment (annealing, tempering and reset) have been studied.By using the method of dyeing, metals become harder and by the next method of recovery the metals become robust (can handle impact).One step before the design is the selection of appropriate presses, after calculating the cutting force and configuration.The cutting forces decreased (suitable slope 2°).To provide a continuous derivative in front of the cutter should be mounted an auto sheet feeder with precise step, so the most suitable feeder was chosen.Also, pneumatic rams were selected according to the power that will be used in formative mold.An important piece of work, including the costing of all the tools needed to implement the automatic production, confirming the need for strong capital.In the last part of the assignment, there are some drawings that show mold pieces.We cannot overlook the fact that good design is probably - if not definitely - the most important part in the production of any product as an excellent design specifies an excellent result.This work can be an important guide in the hands of a mechanical engineer in an effort to enrich his knowledge of the subject.
