Abstract
In this thesis the available ways welding of gas subsea pipelines to the plot 12 of the Exclusive Economic Zone of Cyprus are studied. This thesis investigate the loads and torques strain these pipelines, the process, the type and material of the weld as well as methods for internal and external machining of pipelines are studied. It refers to methods of testing the quality of welds and made various suggestions for protecting pipelines from corrosion phenomenon. In addition, a brief description of the bottom and the conditions prevailing in the plot 12 is given.
