Abstract: Mobile apps are increasingly being used to manage cancer, however not without challenges. Despite their potential, evidence on the actual use of mobile technologies within the cancer care context is not adequate. Areas of concern include healthcare professionals’ (HCP) challenges in identifying the most suitable applications for their specific needs, as well as in evaluating these apps' quality and clinical effectiveness.
