Abstract
The quick succession of a sequence of images or a model's positions to provide the impression of motion is called animation. It's a kind of art where the finished piece comes to life, playing parts and narrating tales.
One of the goals of this research is to create an animated film series with 12 20-minute episodes. This show will fall within the crime drama genre, tackling social and political topics that I find important and encouraging viewers to think critically about them. One of the most important episodes is the first, sometimes referred to as the pilot, which introduces the audience to the major characters and takes them on a tour of the show's universe. The pilot's goals are to pique the audience's curiosity and provide a summary of the most important details. I was inspired to make this series because, like most people in my generation, I grew up watching animated movies and was influenced by the experiences they gave me. I have a deep appreciation for the art form of animation. Apart from crafting the narrative for the show, the thesis seeks to identify the methods
and prerequisites associated with producing a piece of this nature. "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants," declared Isaac Newton. Within the parameters of my studies, I too stood on the shoulders of giants to realize my artistic objective. I started deliberately reading, viewing, and observing
previous works as well as books and writings that would help me tell the story, taking into consideration the constraints I had set for this project. A universal truth is that every story is told from the perspective of a character. As a result, the main character—whom the audience experiences the story through—always
receives significant attention. I was able to draft the treatment and create the aesthetics of the concept art and preliminary sketches of the work by studying the relevant literature and works. After completing a draft form of the texts and a number of sketches, I approached two specialists in the field, asking them to read what I had written and provide input. We 19 had a teleconference to talk about the subject. I continued making adjustments and changes to the treatment based on the feedback given. The unique aspect of series development is that research needs to be focused and aimed at providing answers to queries and solutions to issues that come up in each individual instance. I finished with the completion of an extensive treatment for the pilot episode and eleven shorter summaries for the remaining episodes of the series, along with sketches for the main antagonist and the main character and a series of sketches for the story's settings, after conducting focused research related to my narrative and taking the experts' feedback into consideration.
