Abstract: There was a theme to this year's International Graphic Design Festival Plaster: photographic material as the subject matter of graphic design in the form of a collage or as the core of the composition. Photography has enormous creative potential which has been largely neglected by designers in recent years.
Description: This poster is my response to the killing of 46-year-old African-American, George Floyd, an incident of police brutality and racially motivated violence against black people. Donald Trump’s divisive insticts helpled him win the white house and now US is grieving over the twin injuries of police brutality and a pandemic that has disproportionately hit minorities.
