Abstract: We present our recent developments regarding monolithic fibre lasers, incorporating gratings as reflectors and polarizing elements via the plane-by-plane femtosecond laser inscription method. Designs are considered for continuous and pulsed laser operation in the mid-infrared wavelength range.
