Abstract
This is the introductory part of the edited book Emerging Transformations in Tourism and Hospitality. This part briefly presents the current travel, tourism, and hospitality environment, the drivers that lead the industry to transform, and the need for destinations and enterprises to prepare and effectively employ those transformations. It also provides an initial insight and contribution of the edited book, whilst it finally shortly presents the book chapters.
