Abstract
The purpose of this research note is to invite scholars to consider how the notion of neoteny can be integrated in future tourism research. The note does not come as a deus ex machina for tourism transformation. Instead, it triggers inquisitiveness about how destinations can apply neoteny to rejuvenate their tourism products and favorably shape tourist experiences.
