Παρασκευής Δεκούλου και ολοκληρώθηκε τον Μάιο του 2018. H έννοια της Εταιρικής Κοινωνικής Ευθύνης έχει μακρά και ποικίλη ιστορία και έχει δημιουργήσει μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον ως προς τις πρακτικές της, αφού υπόσχεται ένα καλύτερο και ευχάριστο εργασιακό περιβάλλον. Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία διαπραγματεύεται ευρύτατα το ζήτημα της εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης και ειδικότερα το πως οι εργαζόμενοι αντιλαμβάνονται και αντιδρούν στις πρακτικές της. Πιο συγκεκριμένα, επιχειρεί να μελετήσει, στο πλαίσιο του τραπεζικού τομέα στην Κύπρο: α) κατά πόσο η εταιρική κοινωνική ευθύνη επηρεάζει τα εργασιακά αποτελέσματα (εργασιακή ικανοποίηση και εργασιακή επίδοση), και β) κατά πόσο η εταιρική κοινωνική ευθύνη επηρεάζει την ενδυνάμωση των εργαζομένων και την οργανωσιακή ταύτιση; Σύμφωνα με τους ερευνητικούς στόχους που αναφέρθηκαν πιο πάνω, οι τέσσερεις μεταβλητές είναι: α) εργασιακή επίδοση, β) εργασιακή ικανοποίηση, γ) ενδυνάμωση και δ) οργανωσιακή ταύτιση. Αρχικά, γίνεται μια βιβλιογραφική επισκόπηση για τους ορισμούς των μεταβλητών που αναφέρθηκαν πιο πάνω καθώς επίσης και για δεσμούς μεταξύ τους. Στη συνέχεια, μέσω της ανάλυσης της ποσοτικής έρευνας που έγινε σε τρείς τράπεζες στη Κύπρο, με 203 εργαζομένους, μελετώνται τα συμπεράσματα που υποστηρίζουν σχέσεις μεταξύ των εργαζομένων και τις πρακτικές της εταιρικής κοινωνικής ευθύνης και πως αυτές μπορούν να επηρεάσουν τις μεταβλητές που αναφέρθηκαν πιο πάνω. | Description: | This dissertation titled "The Internal Dimension of Corporate Social Responsibility in the Banking Sector: Quantitative Approach" was carried out by Melanie Mesariti, a student of the "Communication and Internet Studies" section of the Cyprus University of Technology, under the supervision of Dr. Paraskeui Dekoulou and was completed in May 2018. The essence of Corporate Social Responsibility has a long and varied story and has generated great interest in its practices, since it promises a better and more pleasant work environment. This dissertation generally deals with the issue of corporate social responsibility, and in particular how employees perceive and react to its practices. More specifically, it attempts to study, within the banking sector in Cyprus: (a) whether corporate social responsibility affects work performance (job satisfaction and job performance); and (b) whether corporate social responsibility affects the empowerment of workers and organizational identification? According to the research objectives mentioned above, the four variables are: a) job performance; b) job satisfaction; c) empowerment; and d) organizational identification. Initially, a literature review is mentioned, in order to clarify the definitions of the variables mentioned above as well as relationships between them.
