Θεωρείται μείζονος σημασίας αφού μπορεί να προκαλέσει το θάνατο ολόκληρου του μελισσιού. Γι ’αυτό χρειάζεται η ορθή διάγνωση της, ούτως ώστε να λαμβάνονται εγκαίρως τα κατάλληλα μέτρα αντιμετώπισης της. Στη συγκεκριμένη έρευνα, μέσω της καταμέτρησης των σπορίων Nosema spp., πραγματοποιήθηκε έλεγχος της ακριβείας της καθιερωμένης μεθόδου προσδιορισμού του βαθμού προσβολής της νόσου. Μελετήθηκε ο προσδιορισμός σε συγκεντρωτικά δείγματα μελισσών, έναντι της μεμονωμένης διάγνωσης και βρέθηκε πως η συγκεκριμένη μεθοδολογία είναι αρκετά ακριβής και οδηγεί στην εξαγωγή αξιόπιστων συμπερασμάτων. | Description: | Nosemosis, is a honeybee (Apis mellifera) disease, caused by the fungus Nosema apis and Nosema ceranae. It is considered a major apicultural pest which can cause the death of the entire colony. Hence, reliable diagnosis of the infestation level it is of great importance in order to apply control sufficient treatments. At the present study, Nosema spp spores, derived from infested honeybees were counted in order to control the standard method of Nosemosis evaluation. Infestation level was evaluated at solitary honeybees and was compared with honeybees in groups.
