Abstract: While the effectiveness of the Baby-Friendly Hospital (BFH) Initiative’s “Ten Steps for Successful Breastfeeding” has been documented, there is often suboptimal implementation. In Cyprus, there are no BFH and rates of exclusively breastfeeding are low.
