Activity Description
Project Title: Solea valley irrigation project – Solea Dam
The €18 million project involved the construction of an earthfill with
central clay core embankment (60m high and 444m long), a draw-off
culvert, 4 pumping stations, 3 reservoirs and pavement network.
Duties:
1. Site manager - Used Primavera software and MS project to
manage the projects
2. Deal with the project contract and contractors
3. Deal with project contract Law
4. Oversaw all of the works and managed the entire end-to-end
construction programme
5. Health and safety officer
6. Installing, monitoring and analysing data of the instruments
of the entire project (like digital vertical inclinometers,
magnetic probe extensometer, piezometers and triaxial force
balance accelerometers)
