Abstract
This document was written for the purposes of D18 - Open Access Policy including pricing policy for access to external users of the CONNECTING project funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Research and Innovation Foundation of the Republic of Cyprus, under the contract "SMALL SCALE INFRASTRUCTURES/1222/0062".
The CONNECTING Open Access Policy is designed to provide equitable, transparent, and sustainable access to the Research Infrastructure (RI) managed by the Research and Innovation Knowledge Centre for Engineering in Heritage, hereinafter referred to as CONNECTING. The policy ensures that the Centre’s state-of-the-art resources, including advanced equipment, digital tools, and expert services, are made available to a diverse range of users from academia, industry, and public sectors. By fostering open access, the policy aligns with national and European strategic priorities, including the Smart Specialization Strategy of Cyprus (S3Cy) and Horizon Europe.
