Abstract
This thesis focuses on the comparative evaluation of modern Big Data architectures, with an emphasis on storage and retrieval performance. More specifically, it examines architectures such as Data Lake, Data Lakehouse, Knowledge Graph Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Semantic Data Fabric. A fuzzy logic-based evaluation framework was developed, using multiple criteria and literature-based evidence to produce comparative results. Through this process, the thesis highlights the advantages, limitations, and suitability of each architecture across different use cases
