Abstract
This document was written for the purposes of D2 - Risk Management and Contingency Plan of the CONNECTING project funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the Research and Innovation Foundation of the Republic of Cyprus, under the contract "SMALL SCALE INFRASTRUCTURES/1222/0062".
This document presents a Contingency Plan outlining the risks identified during the initial phase of the project, along with the associated contingency plans and mitigation actions. A specific methodology and well-structured workflow within the consortium will be employed to effectively address these risks. Throughout the project duration, identified risks will be continuously monitored as their probabilities or impacts may fluctuate, and new risks may arise. Early identification of emerging risks and the development of preventive actions and contingency plans are crucial for ensuring successful project completion. A dynamic risk assessment will be carried out during the first six months of the project's life, and corrective actions will be taken where deemed necessary. The current document will be updated throughout the life of the project.
