Biography
Christos Zoumides is a Postgraduate Research Fellow, a PhD Candidate and a member of Assistant Professor Theodoros Zachariadis' research team at the Department of Environmental Science and Technology. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Economics and Environmental Science from the University of Stirling (2007) and an M.Sc. (with Distinction) in Ecological Economics from the University of Edinburgh (2008). He has been awarded with the 2008 Henry Gilbert Prize for presenting the best postgraduate thesis at the School of GeoSciences of the University of Edinburgh. Since 2009, Christos is a member of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE) and a partner in the Water Footprint Network (WFN). He is also the representative of Cyprus and Member of the Management Committee in the COST Action ES1106 “Assessment of European Agriculture Water Use and Trade under Climate Change”.
