Biography
Polyvios is a Senior Lecturer at the department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering. He received a diploma from HTI (Cyprus) and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Tennessee Tech University (USA). He continued his studies at the same university to receive a masters and a PhD degree. He worked as an assistant professor at the center of excellence for manufacturing research at the same university and as a lecturer at HTI in Cyprus. He has supervised a number of degree and masters theses as well as PhD dissertations. He has taught courses in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and acoustics. His research interests are in the areas of thermal systems, fluids, environment and acoustics.
