Biography
Evridiki Papastavrou holds a PhD from the University of Athens and a Master’s in Nursing from the University of Manchester, under a scholarship funded by the World Health Organization. She also has a BSc, from the Panteion University of Athens, a Diploma in Basic Nursing and a Diploma in Nursing Administration from the School of Nursing in Nicosia. She has long experience in teaching at the School of Nursing in Nicosia, Cyprus and she is also the President of the Cyprus Regulatory body for Nursing and Midwifery. Her research interests include: The concept of care, quality of care and the family burden of care.
