Biography
Stefania is a PhD student in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester in the UK. Following on from her undergraduate studies in Primary Education in Greece, she completed an MA in Art, Craft and Design Education in London. Stefania worked in several primary schools in Cyprus as a substitute teacher, as an art teacher for two years and is currently doing voluntary work as a Museum Educator/Researcher for a museum in Limassol, Cyprus. Her research interests include the relationship between multiple literacies pedagogy and learning in a museum context, approaches to teaching and learning in and through art in a culturally diverse environment, and pedagogies for learning for 21st century skills.
