Brief Description
"Safely Held" was a program that featured three exhibitions and a series of events scheduled from May to December 2023.
In response to Pylon's invitation to explore ways of making contemporary art more accessible and relevant to a broader audience, curators Thalia Spyridou, Evagoras Vanezis, and Elena Parpa have put together three exhibitions and a series of events. Their goal is to enhance public engagement with art and its practice. The Safely Held program revolves around the concept of "structure" and how it can be perceived as malleable, allowing for a reevaluation of established narratives. This engaging program unfolded over the course of seven months, from May to December 2023.
