| dc.description | Because of the extensive use of aggregates in concrete the need for mining aggregates has increased. This has enormous environmental impact and gave birth to the problem that stocks of aggregates will soon run out. In view of sustainable design and development, along with the development of scientific and technical knowledge countries, organizations, companies and scientists in the last 20-25 years crowned the use of recycled materials as recycled aggregates in concrete. Materials obtained from demolished buildings and constructions, industrial waste, tires and household waste are not buried in landfills but are reused for the production of concrete. This dissertation after literature reviews is cites which materials and how they can be recycled and used in concrete and secondly gives results how these recycled aggregates affecting properties of fresh and hardened concrete such as slump, water permeability, modulus of elasticity, compressive strength, flexural strength, carburization, resistance at high temperatures. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Τα τελευταία χρόνια έχει αυξηθεί η ανάγκη εξόρυξης αδρανών για την παραγωγή σκυροδέματος. Αυτό έχει τεράστιες περιβαλλοντικές επιπτώσεις και γέννησε το πρόβλημα ότι τα αποθέματα σύντομα θα τελειώσουν. Με γνώμονα την αειφορία και την βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, παράλληλα με την ανάπτυξη της επιστημονικής και τεχνικής γνώσης κράτη, οργανισμοί, επιχειρήσεις και επιστήμονες τα τελευταία 20-25 χρόνια στέφονται στη χρήση ανακυκλωμένων υλικών ως Ανακυκλωμένα Αδρανή για την παραγωγή Σκυροδέματος ΑΑΣ. Υλικά που αποκτούνται από κατεδαφίσεις κτηρίων και κατασκευών, βιομηχανικά απόβλητα, ελαστικά και οικιακά απορρίμματα δεν ενταφιάζονται σε χώρους υγειονομικής ταφής αλλά επαναχρησιμοποιούνται για την παραγωγή σκυροδέματος. Το σκυρόδεμα είναι ένα μείγμα που για να χρησιμοποιηθεί στις κατασκευές πρέπει να πληρούνται κάποια μεγέθη-όρια που αφορούν ιδιότητες του όταν είναι νωπό και σκληρυμένο. Η παρούσα διατριβή μετά από βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση παραθέτει αρχικά ποια υλικά και με ποιο τρόπο μπορούν να ανακυκλωθούν και να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως ΑΑΣ και κατά δεύτερον με αποσπάσματα από πειραματικές έρευνες δίνει αποτελέσματα πως τα ανακυκλωμένα αδρανή επηρεάζουν ιδιότητες του νωπού και σκλυρυμένου σκυροδέματος όπως κάθιση, υδατοπερατότητα, υδατοαποροφητικότητα, μέτρο ελαστικότητας, θλιπτική αντοχή, καμπτική αντοχή, ενανθράκωση, αντοχή σε υψηλές θερμοκρασίες κα. Τέλος παρουσιάζονται τα συμπεράσματα για την χρήση των ΑΑΣ που δεν είναι πάντα η πιο οικολογική, εύχρηστη και οικονομική λύση και σίγουρα πρέπει να συνυπολογιστεί η έλλειψη κανονισμών και νομοθεσίας για την ορθή χρήση των ΑΑΣ. | en_US |
