dc.descriptionΟ προσδιορισμός θέσης, ο ορισμός και η υλοποίηση συστημάτων αναφοράς συντεταγμένων και οι εργασίες μετατροπής και μετασχηματισμού συντεταγμένων μεταξύ διαφορετικών συστημάτων αποτελούν βασικά αντικείμενα με τα οποία ασχολείται ο Τοπογράφος Μηχανικός. Η εργασία αυτή μελετά σε βάθος το θεωρητικό πλαίσιο αυτών των θεμάτων και εντοπίζει την ανάγκη ύπαρξης μιας εφαρμογής που να υλοποιεί τις εργασίες μετατροπής και μετασχηματισμού συντεταγμένων. Δεδομένου ότι δεν υπάρχει κάτι αντίστοιχο για την Κύπρο, ο στόχος της παρούσας είναι η ανάπτυξη μιας βιβλιοθήκης που να πραγματοποιεί τις λειτουργίες αυτές για την γεωδαιτική υποδομή της χώρας και η δοκιμή της μέσω μιας πρωτόλειας Διεπαφής Προγραμματισμού Εφαρμογών η οποία θα έχει την προοπτική διαμόρφωσής της σε μιας ολοκληρωμένη υπηρεσία μετασχηματισμού συντεταγμένων.en_US
dc.description.abstractCoordinate Reference Systems and coordinate transformation processes are key subjects with which a Surveyor Engineer is involved. This thesis studies the theoretical background of these subjects and indicates the importance of carrying out these operations through a software application. Since such an application has not been formed in Cyprus, the aim of this thesis is the development of a library that enables coordinate transformations of Cyprus spatial infrastructure as well as the design of an Application Programming to support this library with the prospect of being transformed into an integrated geodetic service.en_US
