This thesis investigate the loads and torques strain these pipelines, the process, the type and material of the weld as well as methods for internal and external machining of pipelines are studied. It refers to methods of testing the quality of welds and made various suggestions for protecting pipelines from corrosion phenomenon. In addition, a brief description of the bottom and the conditions prevailing in the plot 12 is given. | Description: | Σε αυτή τη διπλωματική εργασία μελετώνται οι διαθέσιμοι τρόποι συγκόλλησης των υποθαλάσσιων αγωγών μεταφοράς φυσικού αερίου για το οικόπεδο 12 της Αποκλειστικής οικονομικής ζώνης της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας. Διερευνώνται τα φορτία και οι ροπές που καταπονούν τους αγωγούς αυτούς, μελετάται η διαδικασία, ο τύπος και το υλικό της συγκόλλησης καθώς επίσης και μέθοδοι εσωτερικής και εξωτερικής κατεργασίας των αγωγών. Γίνεται αναφορά σε μεθόδους ελέγχου της ποιότητας των συγκολλήσεων και γίνονται διάφορες εισηγήσεις για προστασία των αγωγών από το φαινόμενο της διάβρωσης.
