Abstract
Η "Αληκτώ¨ είναι ένα από μια σειρά τυπογραφικών πορτραίτων με γενικότερο τίτλο Τυπορτραίτα-Typortraits η οποία εμπλουτίζεται κι εξελίσσεται συστηματικά. Στα Τυπορτραίτα οι τύποι (αλφαβητικοί χαρακτήρες και σημεία στίξης) μετατρέπονται σε Τύπους (ανθρωπομορφικούς ή ζωομορφικούς χαρακτήρες, ανοιχτούς σε ερμηνεία, με βιογραφικό, ρευστές ιστορίες και ιδιαίτερους χαρακτήρες), χρησιμοποιώντας τα αλφαβητικά και τυπογραφικά σύμβολα ως δομικά στοιχεία εικονογραφικών συνθέσεων.
"Alecto" is one in a series of typographic portraits under the broader title Typortraits, a project that is systematically enriched and developed. In the Typortraits, types (alphabetic characters and punctuation marks) are transformed into Types (anthropomorphic or zoomorphic figures, open to interpretation, with biographies, fluid narratives, and distinctive personalities), using alphabetic and typographic symbols as the building blocks of illustrative compositions.
