Το καλλιτεχνικό μου έργο, αναφέρεται στην έννοια του χώρου και στην κατασκευή του χώρου ως μια διαδικασία που περιλαμβάνει τον παράγοντα της μνήμης ως το βασικότερο στοιχείο της. Ο άνθρωπος κατασκευάζει "χώρους" μέσω των αναμνήσεών του και γίνεται κομμάτι τους. Στο καλλιτεχνικό μου έργο κατασκευάζω χώρους που παραπέμπουν στη μνημονική διαδικασία, οι οποίοι όμως δεν είναι κλειστοί αλλά ρευστοί. Η θύμηση έρχεται να συνδεθεί με την παρούσα κατάσταση του θεατή, να συνδιαλεχθεί με τον θεατή και να μεταλλαχθεί σε μια άλλη μορφή. Στη μελέτη αυτή μελετάται τόσο η έννοια της μνήμης ως ψυχολογική, κοινωνική ή φιλοσοφική έννοια όσο και ο τρόπος με τον οποίο η μνήμη μπορεί να μην είναι στατική, αλλά ρευστή και υβριδική. Ως παραδείγματα αναφέρονται θεωρητικοί όπως η Catherine Malabou, ο Gilles Deleuze και ο Iain Chambers που έχουν μια παρόμοια άποψη για τη μνήμη. | Description: | The purpose of this study is to develop the theoretical background that supports my artistic work. My artistic work refers to the concept of space and the construction of space as a process that includes the factor of memory as its key element. The human person constructs "spaces" through their memories and becomes part of them. In my artwork I construct spaces that allude to the mnemonic process, but which are not closed but fluid. The memory comes to be connected to the viewer's present situation, to interact with the viewer and to transform into another form. This study studies both the concept of memory as a psychological, social or philosophical concept and the way in which memory may not be static, but fluid and hybrid.
