dc.descriptionIntroduction: Infertility is a health problem that concerns women today. Many factors are reported in the research literature related to the presence of Infertility in women. Aging is the strongest independent factor in the occurrence of infertility in women. Aim: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between age and female infertility after the age of 30 years. Material and Method: The method used was to search the relevant Greek and foreign literature in scientific databases (CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed) with keywords (age, infertility, women under 30, young women). The keywords were used with all possible combinations using the terms "AND" and "OR". Results: The search resulted in 10 studies, during the period 2005-2021, that met the predefined criteria. Through the literature search it was found that the age of women after 30 and especially after 35 is associated with the presence of infertility. Conclusions: Infertility is a major public health problem affecting a significant number of women. The main ones are anxiety, infertility, depression and reduced quality of life.en_US
dc.description.abstractΕισαγωγή: Η Υπογονιμότητα είναι ένα μείζων πρόβλημα υγείας που απασχολεί αρκετές γυναίκες σήμερα. Αναφέρονται πολλοί παράγοντες στην ερευνητική βιβλιογραφία που σχετίζονται με την παρουσία Υπογονιμότητας στις γυναίκες. Η αύξηση της ηλικίας αποτελεί τον ισχυρότερο ανεξάρτητο παράγοντα εμφάνισης Υπογονιμότητας στις γυναίκες. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας υπήρξε η διερεύνηση την σχέση ηλικίας με την υπογονιμότητα γυναικών μετά την ηλικία των 30 ετών. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η αναζήτηση της σχετικής ελληνικής και ξένης βιβλιογραφίας σε επιστημονικές βάσεις δεδομένων (CINAHL, MEDLINE, PubMed) με λέξεις κλειδιά (age, infertility, women under 30, young women). H λέξεις κλειδιά χρησιμοποιήθηκαν με όλους τους πιθανούς συνδυασμούς με την χρησιμοποίηση των όρων "AND" και "OR". Αποτελέσματα: Η αναζήτηση κατέληξε σe 10 μελέτες, κατά την περίοδο 2005-2021, που πληρούσαν τα προκαθορισμένα κριτήρια. Μέσα από την αναζήτηση της βιβλιογραφίας διαπιστώθηκε πως η ηλικία των γυναικών μετά τα 30 και ειδικότερα μετά τα 35 σχετίζεται με την παρουσία υπογονιμότητας. Συμπεράσματα: Η υπογονιμότητα είναι ένα σημαντικό πρόβλημα δημόσιας υγείας που απασχολεί ένα σημαντικό αριθμό γυναικών. Οι κυριότερες επιπτώσεις της υπογονιμότητας αφορούν το άγχος, την κατάθλιψη και την μείωση του επιπέδου της ποιότητας ζωής.en_US
