dc.descriptionThe lack of awareness and information campaigns on climate change is the reason why this study was led to the design and development of a campaign aimed at the youth of Cyprus. The purpose of this dissertation through visual and audiovisual communication is to develop a creative and effective information campaign aimed at raising awareness of climate change. To achieve this in the first phase we conducted an introduction and literature review of climate change. Information was analyzed that concerns the world and Cyprus about the effects and challenges of the problem. Information was analyzed, starting with temperatures, climate change and rainfall in Cyprus. The author covered the effects that the problem of climate change has on health, the effects of climate change, rising sea, their carbon dioxide emissions and means of transportation. The methodology used is action research with people aged 18-25. Two data collection methods were applied, and the tools used were questionnaires and one-on-one interviews. The completion of the action research helped to gather information, important conclusions, and suggestions on how to improve the campaign in the future.en_US
dc.description.abstractΗ έλλειψη ευαισθητοποίησης και εκστρατειών ενημέρωσης για την κλιματική αλλαγή είναι ο λόγος που η μελετητήρια οδηγήθηκε προς τον σχεδιασμό και ανάπτυξη καμπάνιας που στοχεύει τους νέους της Κύπρου. Σκοπός της παρούσας διπλωματικής εργασίας μέσω της οπτικής και οπτικοακουστικής επικοινωνίας, είναι η ανάπτυξη μιας δημιουργικής και αποτελεσματικής εκστρατείας ενημέρωσης με στόχο την ευαισθητοποίηση της κλιματικής αλλαγής. Για να επιτευχθεί αυτό στη πρώτη φάση διεξήγαγε μια εισαγωγή και βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση της κλιματικής αλλαγής. Αναλύθηκαν πληροφορίες που αφορούν παγκοσμίως αλλά και την Κύπρο για τις επιπτώσεις αλλά και προκλήσεις του προβλήματος. Αναλυθήκαν πληροφορίες, αρχίζοντας από τις θερμοκρασίες, μεταβολές του κλίματος και βροχοπτώσεις στη Κύπρο. Η γράφουσα κάλυψε τις επιπτώσεις που το πρόβλημα της κλιματικής αλλαγής έχει στην υγεία, τις επιδράσεις των κλιματικών αλλαγών, την άνοδο της θάλασσας, τις εκπομπές τους διοξειδίου του άνθρακα και τα μεταφορικά μέσα. Η μεθοδολογία που χρησιμοποιήθηκε είναι η έρευνα δράσης με άτομα ηλικίας 18-25 ετών. Εφαρμόστηκαν δύο μέθοδοι συλλογής δεδομένων και τα εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν ερωτηματολόγια και ατομικές συνεντεύξεις. Η ολοκλήρωση της έρευνας δράσης βοήθησαν στην συγκέντρωση πληροφορίων, σημαντικών συμπερασμάτων και προτάσεων για το πως να βελτιωθεί η καμπάνια μελλοντικά.en_US
