Ιδιαίτερα σημαντικό είναι η έγκαιρη εκπαίδευση των νεαρών ασθενών και των οικογενειών τους προκειμένου να επιτυγχάνεται η ορθή διαχείριση της ασθένειας. Επομένως η εκπαίδευση της οικογένειας και του παιδιού παίζει σημαντικό ρολό για την πορεία της ασθένειας του παιδιού και για την αποφυγή επιπλοκών. Σκοπός: Σκοπός της παρούσα εργασίας είναι η διερεύνηση της εκπαίδευσης της οικογένειας και του παιδιού με Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη Τύπου 1 για την ορθή διαχείριση της ασθένειας. Υλικό και μέθοδος: Η μέθοδος που χρησημοποιήθηκε ήταν η αναζήτηση της σχετικής ελληνικής και διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας σε ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις δεδομένων όπως PUBMED, CINAHL Plus with full text, SCOPUS με τις λέξεις κλειδιά "diabetes type 1" or "diabetes mellitus type 1" or "diabetes 1" or "insulin dependant", education or teaching or counselling or guidance or information or knowledge, family or families or parent*, child or children or childhood or kid or kids. Αποτελέσματα: Η αναζήτηση κατέληξε σε 6 μελέτες, κατά την περίοδο 2015-2020, που πληρούσαν τα προκαθορισμένα κριτήρια. Από την ανασκόπηση της βιβλιογραφίας διαπιστώθηκε πως υπήρξε σημαντική μείωση στις τιμές της γλυκοζυλιωμένης αιμοσφαιρίνης (HbA1c) μετά από την ολοκλήρωση της εκπαίδευσης. Συμπεράσματα: Η εκπαίδευση μέσω προσωμοίωση ανθρώπινου σκέλους (HPS), χρονογραφήματα, τηλεηλεκτρονικό σύστημα υγείας, πρακτική εκπαίδευση στο σπίτι ή πρακτική εκπαίδευση σε εσωτερικούς ασθενείς, παρεμβάση πολλαπλών συστατικών σε κατασκήνωση για μικρά παιδία, δομημένη εκπαίδευση ενός έτους και ένα κοινό ιατρικό μοντέλο-ραντεβού φαίνεται να συμβάλλουν με επιτυχία στην επαρκή εκπαίδευση του παιδιού και της οικογένειας με Σακχαρώδη Διαβήτη τύπου 1. | Description: | Introduction: Type 1 diabetes is becoming more common in childhood. It is especially important to educate young patients and their families in a timely manner in order to achieve proper disease management. Therefore, the education of the family and the child plays an important role in the course of the child's illness and in avoiding complications. Purpose: The purpose of this review is to investigate the education of the family and the child with type 1 diabetes for the proper management of the disease. Material and method: The method used was the search of the relevant Greek and international literature in electronic databases such as PUBMED, CINAHL Plus with full text, SCOPUS with the keywords "diabetes type 1" or "diabetes mellitus type 1" or "diabetes 1" or " insulin dependent ", education or teaching or counseling or guidance or information or knowledge, family or families or parent *, child or children or childhood or kid or kids. Results: The search resulted in 6 studies, during the period 2015-2020, that met the predetermined criteria. The review of the literature revealed a significant reduction in glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) values after completion of training.
