dc.descriptionIn this research action images are used, which are used to describe in order to investigate the expression ability for normal developed Cypriot children of pre-school age to express themselves. The expression ability of Cypriot children differs from that of Cypriot-Greek children. Specifically in this research the structure of sentences and the way that they are used for the grammatical rules is described in their sentences. Because of the lack of regulatory data for the Cypriot population the children are evaluated based on norms of Cypriot-Greek children. As a result it is easily recognizable that the grading of children demands the necessary adaptions in order to be representative. In this research “ACTION IMAGES Testing Informative and Grammar sufficiency” are used to investigate the expression ability of Cypriot children from the age of 4;0- 6;0. The target of this pilot research is to present the language characteristics for the expression ability of Cypriot children. The findings show the language differences in comparison with the expression ability of Cypriot-Greek children.en_US
