Aristidou, Petros
Αριστείδου, Πέτρος
I am a Lecturer in Sustainable Power Systems at the Cyprus University of Technology. Before that, I was a Lecturer at the University of Leeds, UK. I received my PhD in Engineering Sciences in July 2015 from the University of Liège, Belgium, and a Diploma in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece, in 2010. After my PhD, I joined the Power Systems Laboratory of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zürich) where I worked as a postdoctoral researcher. My research is on power system modeling and high-performance simulations; planning and operation of active distribution networks; and, modeling, analysis, and control of low inertia systems.
