Laghos, Andrew

Dr. Andrew Laghos is a faculty member of the School of Fine and Applied Arts, Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts of the Cyprus University of Technology, as well as a member of the University’s Art + Design: elearning lab. Prior to this he was a faculty member at the University of Nicosia Cyprus. Dr Laghos holds a PhD with specialization in Social Networks and Computer Assisted Language Learning from City University UK, an MSc in Interactive Multimedia from Middlesex University UK, a BSc in Computer Science and a certificate in Website Design and Development both from Webster University USA, and a Cambridge CELTA certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. He has 20+ years of Music experience in composing and live performances (mainly drums and guitar) including awards for songwriting. Dr Laghos teaches courses such as Audiovisual Production while his research and practice include the areas of Music, Social Networks/Social Media & Language Teaching and Learning.
