Description
The Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing is an international journal which publishes research and scholarly papers that are relevant to psychiatric nursing or mental health nursing and/or people with lived experiences of mental health problems. We publish rigorously conducted research, systematic, integrative and critical realist reviews, essays and debates, and lived experience narratives. We fully support recovery oriented approches to mental health.
All papers must have explicitly stated implications for people with lived experiences of mental health problems in addition to those for psychiatric nursing or mental health nursing. Papers are welcomed which draw on single or multiple research and academic disciplines. We encourage critical debate and exchange of ideas. In addition all scientific papers including reviews need to contain a clear scientifc rationale and an explicit statement on what the study adds to the existing evidence.
Please read the instructions below carefully for details on the submission of manuscripts, the journal's requirements and standards as well as information concerning the procedure after a manuscript has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing.
