| dc.description | INTRODUCTION: Heart failure (HF) is a chronic disease and is a common and serious public health problem, since the number of patients with HF is increasing worldwide. AIM OF THE STUDY: To investigate the factors affecting of older people with HF related quality of life (Q.L) on health. METHODS: The method used was complex and systematic search of the relevant Greek and English literature in electronic databases MEDLINE, PUMBED, EMBASE, CINAHL and the Google Scholar and Scopus for the times of publication from 2000 to 2014. RESULTS: Factors such as demographics, socioeconomic status, severity of disease, age, depression and hospitalization seem to affect health related-Q.L of older people with HF. Furthermore, gender and age are found to be related with health related-QoL of the particular group. CONCLUSION: Older people with heart failure are found to have a reduced related to health related QoL. However, more investigation is needed to clarify which factors affecting the related-QoL on health. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | ΕΙΣΑΓΩΓΗ : Η καρδιακή ανεπάρκεια (ΚΑ) είναι μια χρόνια νόσος και αποτελεί ένα κοινό και σοβαρό πρόβλημα δημόσιας υγείας, καθώς ο αριθμός των ασθενών αυξάνεται παγκοσμίως. ΣΚΟΠΟΣ: Η διερεύνηση των παραγόντων που επηρεάζουν την ποιότητα ζωής σχετιζόμενη με την υγεία σε ηλικιωμένους με καρδιακή ανεπάρκεια (ΚΑ). ΜΕΘΟΔΟΛΟΓΙΑ: Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η συστηματική αναζήτηση της σχετικής ελληνικής και αγγλικής βιβλιογραφίας στις ηλεκτρονικές βάσεις δεδομένων MEDLINE, PUMBED, EMBASE, CINAHL καθώς και στο Google Scholar και Scopus για τους χρόνους δημοσίευσης 2000 – 2014. Στο Pubmed χρησιμοποιήθηκε το εργαλείο related citations in Pubmed. Επίσης, πραγματοποιήθηκε διερεύνηση των βιβλιογραφικών παραπομπών των ερευνών. ΑΠΟΤΕΛΕΣΜΑΤΑ: Οι παράγοντες, τα δημογραφικά στοιχεία, η κοινωνικοοικονομική κατάσταση, η σοβαρότητα της νόσου, η ηλικία, η εμφάνιση της κατάθλιψης και η νοσηλεία στο νοσοκομείο φαίνεται να επηρεάζουν την ποιότητα ζωής σχετικά με την υγεία σε ηλικιωμένους ασθενείς με ΚΑ. Επίσης, υπάρχουν διαφορές στην ποιότητα ζωής των ηλικιωμένων ασθενών με ΚΑ σχετικά με το φύλο και την ηλικιακή ομάδα που ανήκουν. ΣΥΜΠΕΡΑΣΜΑΤΑ:. Οι ηλικιωμένοι ασθενείς με ΚΑ έχουν μειωμένη ποιότητα ζωής σχετιζόμενη με την υγεία. Ωστόσο, χρειάζεται περισσότερη διερεύνηση για τους παράγοντες που επηρεάζουν την ποιότητα ζωής σχετικά με την υγεία στο συγκεκριμένο πληθυσμό. | en_US |
