| dc.description | The object of this work is to understand the design and production of asphalt mixes, which are used in the construction industry, especially in road construction. The aim is to understand the desirable properties of asphalt mixes and their influence on the behavious of road pavements and examine the various internationally accepted methods of mix design. The aggregate and asphalt properties are examined, as well as their influence on the properties of asphalt mixes. Finally, the production and compaction of asphalt mixes is described. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Αντικείμενο της πτυχιακής αυτής εργασίας είναι ο σχεδιασμός ασφαλτομιγμάτων, τα οποία να μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν στην κατασκευαστική βιομηχανία και κυρίως στην κατασκευή οδοστρωμάτων. Στόχος αυτής της διπλωματικής μελέτης είναι να κατανοηθούν τόσο οι ιδιότητες των ασφαλτομιγμάτων καθώς και σε ποιό βαθμό αυτές επηρεάζουν την συμπεριφορά του οδοστρώματος, όσο και οι μέθοδοι σύνθεσης των ασφαλτομιγμάτων. Θα μελετηθούν οι ιδιότητες των αδρανών υλικών και της ασφάλτου και πως αυτές επηρεάζουν τις ιδιότητες των ασφαλτομιγμάτων. Τέλος θα γίνει περιγραφή της παραγωγής και συμπύκνωσης των ασφαλτομιγμάτων στο πεδίο. | en_US |
