One of the known factors leading to its development is exposure to tobacco smoke. As the rates of women, who smoke during pregnancy, in our days, are increasing, it is to investigate the role of smoking during pregnancy on childhood asthma developmenten_US
dc.description.abstractΤο παιδικό άσθμα αποτελεί μια από τις σύγχρονες και συχνές χρόνιες παθήσεις της παιδικής ηλικίας με επιπτώσεις τόσο στο ίδιο το παιδί και την οικογένεια του αλλά και το ευρύτερο κοινωνικό σύνολο αφού οι επιπτώσεις της νόσου είναι εμφανείς στη δημόσια υγεία και υπηρεσίες υγείας γενικότερα. Ένας από τους γνωστούς παράγοντες που οδηγούν στην ανάπτυξή του είναι η έκθεση στον καπνό. Καθώς τα ποσοστά των γυναικών που καπνίζουν κατά την εγκυμοσύνη στις μέρες μας ολοένα και αυξάνονται κρίνεται απαραίτητη η διερεύνηση του ρόλου του καπνίσματος κατά την εγκυμοσύνη στην ανάπτυξη παιδικού άσθματος.en_US
