dc.descriptionAcquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) is an epidemic which is actively spreading in health centre’s, consequently bringing people in the medical profession, especially the nursing staff , in close contact to HIV positive patients. Therefore, sufficient knowledge on HIV infection on the HIV virus and a positive attitude towards the HIV patient is of uttermost importance to the nursing staff and generally to public health. Aim: Purpose: of this critical literature review was to investigate knowledge and attitudes of nurses for HIV-infected patients in various countries around the world.en
dc.description.abstractΗ μάστιγα του συνδρόμου επίκτητης ανοσολογικής ανεπάρκειας (AIDS) ολοένα και παίρνει μεγαλύτερες διαστάσεις και εισβάλει όλο και περισσότερο στα νοσηλευτήρια φέρνωντας τους επαγγελματίες υγείας και κυρίως τους νοσηλευτές όλο και πιο πολύ αντιμέτωπους με οροθετικούς ασθενείς. Επομένως οι επαρκείς γνώσεις γύρω από την HIV λοίμωξη και η διατήρηση θετικών στάσεων είναι μεγίστης σημασίας για το νοσηλευτικό κλάδο αλλά και για τη δημόσια υγεία γενικότερα.en
