Για την μελέτη του οικιστικού τομέα λήφθηκε υπόψη το κτιριακό απόθεμα του Κυπριακού Οργανισμού Αναπτύξεως Γης. Οι δείκτες ενεργειακής απόδοσης θεωρούνται ως ένα σημαντικό εργαλείο και μέσο με το οποίο οι διάφορες χώρες μπορούν να υποστηρίξουν τη χάραξη μιας ενεργειακής πολιτικής ώστε οι πολιτικές αποφάσεις να επικεντρωθούν στο σχεδιασμό αποτελεσματικών μέτρων και στην παρακολούθηση της προόδου προς την κατεύθυνση υλοποίησης των στόχων της ΕΕ. Συλλέχθηκαν στοιχεία και πληροφορίες σχετικά με την ενεργειακή απόδοση και αναβάθμιση του οικιστικού τομέα με στόχο την εξαγωγή δεικτών οι οποίοι θα προσδιορίζουν την ενεργειακή κατάσταση που επικρατεί και τη βελτίωση που υφίσταται το οικιστικό κτηριακό απόθεμα στην Κύπρο. Αρχικά έγινε η δημιουργία της κατάλληλης μεθοδολογίας με την οποία έγινε η προσέγγιση της μελέτης. Μετέπειτα δημιουργήθηκαν τα ερωτηματολόγια που συμπληρώθηκαν από τους ενοίκους επί τόπου στην κατοικία τους. Ακολούθως δόθηκαν στην Αρχή Ηλεκτρισμού Κύπρου οι υπογραμμένες εξουσιοδοτήσεις με σκοπό την ανάκτηση των ετήσιων καταναλώσεων των κατοικιών. Έχοντας πλέον όλα τα απαραίτητα στοιχεία συμπληρώθηκαν οι απαιτούμενοι πίνακες που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν αργότερα για την εξαγωγή των δεικτών. Η διαδικασία που αναφέρθηκε αποτέλεσε το πιο χρονοβόρο κομμάτι της έρευνας καθώς αφορούσε και τις επισκέψεις στα διάφορα σημεία των έργων στην Κύπρο. Στη συνέχεια ταξινομήθηκαν τα δεδομένα σε διάφορους πίνακες που αναφέρονται πιο κάτω και μέσα στο παράρτημα της διατριβής. Με τους κατάλληλους υπολογισμούς μεταξύ των καταναλώσεων και των ηλεκτρομηχανολογικών εγκαταστάσεων κάθε φορά εξήχθησαν οι ενεργειακοί δείκτες του κτιριακού αποθέματος. Επίσης μελετήθηκαν όλα τα ενεργειακά προϊόντα που χρησιμοποιούνται από τους ενοίκους. Στο τελικό στάδιο της μελέτης συνοψίζονται τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας και των διάφορων υπολογισμών υπό τη μορφή των δεικτών με σκοπό την αξιοποίηση τους σε διάφορες έρευνες. Τέλος δημιουργήθηκε μια κοινή γλώσσα που από σύνολα δεδομένων που καθόρισε τους δείκτες ενεργειακής απόδοσης του υπό μελέτη κτιριακού αποθέματος. | Description: | This thesis concerns the collection and process of data to determine the Energy Performance Indicators of the residential Sector in Cyprus. For this study the sample was compiled from the portfolio of the residential building stock of the Cyprus Land Development Corporation. This sample was representative of the building stock typology in Cyprus as was defined by previous studies contacted by the IEE EPISCOPE project. Collected data and information regarding the energy consumption and retrofitting of the residential building stock studied in order export the appropriate information regarding the Energy Performance Indicators and to determine the energy performance in buildings and to improve the tracking process of the continuous optimization of the refurbishment of the existing residential building stock in Cyprus. Initially, the development of the appropriate methodology was necessary in order to guide the study. Subsequently questionnaires were created and then completed by the residents during onsite visits, as well as a detailed study of the dwellings regarding the energy performance of the building envelope and the installation of the dwellings' electromechanical systems. The second step was to collect and compile information regarding the actual energy consumption of each dwelling. For this, signed authorizations by each resident were given to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus, in order to recover the annual electricity consumption each house. With all the necessary information and data gathered the appropriate tables were completed and later used extract the necessary information, thus compiling the Energy Performance Indicators. The survey part of the process was the most time consuming due to the fact that on site visits had to be made on various locations of the projects in Cyprus, furthermore not all residents were willing to help. Moreover the lack of knowledge of the general public regarding energy conservation measures was very clear during this part of the study. Once all the data were collected, they were compiled, analyzed and allocated into various tables set out below in the appendix of this thesis. The appropriate calculations between the energy consumption and the electromechanical systems of the sample building stock were made and then exported.
