Μελετήθηκαν αρκετά διαφορετικά φυσικά προϊόντα για την αντιμικροβιακή δραστηριότητα που έχουν, μέσα από την χρήση της εφαρμογής Way2Drug antiBac-Pred, η οποία έδινε πληροφορίες σχετικά με τους μικροοργανισμούς που παρουσίαζε δραστικότητα το φυσικό προϊόν, πιο συγκεκριμένα σε κάποιους ήταν λιγότερη και σε κάποιους ήταν μεγαλύτερη. Ακολούθως, με τα αποτελέσματα που εξάχθηκαν από την εφαρμογή, έγινε μια επαλήθευση συγκρίνοντας τα με έγκυρες βιβλιογραφικές πληροφορίες που αποδείκνυαν την αντιμικροβιακή δράση στην οποία αναφερόταν η εφαρμογή. Με αυτό τον τρόπο αποδεικτικέ πως η Way2Drug antiBac-Pred λειτουργεί με επιτυχία αφού έδινε σωστά αποτελέσματα. Επιπλέον, στην μελέτη αυτή, αναγράφονται σημαντικές πληροφορίες για τα φυσικά προϊόντα τόσο για την χρήση που έχουν, για τις πήγες από τις οποίες δύνανται να απομονωθούν αλλά όσο και για την κατηγοριοποίηση τους. Τέλος, έγινε αντιληπτό ότι ίσως τα φυσικά προϊόντα αποτελούν πιθανή πηγή για την δημιουργία νέων αντιμικροβιακών ουσιών πέραν από τις άλλες πολυάριθμες θετικές επιδράσεις που έχουν στο άνθρωπο αλλά και στο περιβάλλον. | Description: | In the current dissertation, the antimicrobial action of natural products and substances is examined. Several different natural products were studied for their antimicrobial activity, through the use of the Way2Drug antiBac-Pred application, which provided information about the microorganisms that the natural product showed activity, more specifically in some it was less and in some it was greater. Following the results extracted from the application, a verification was made by comparing them with valid literature information that proved the antimicrobial activity to which the application referred. In this way it has been revealed that Way2Drug antiBac-Pred works successfully since it gave correct results. In addition, in this study, important information about natural products is listed, both for their use, for the sources from which they can be isolated, but also for their categorization.
