| dc.description | Introduction: Family-centred care is defined as the approach that promotes parental involvement in the planning and provision of care for their infant who is admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The adoption of this intervention in various countries around the world suggests the need for further study to see whether or not it is helpful. Aim: This systematic review aims to find out the experiences of parents of preterm infants admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, receiving family-centered care Material and Method: The method used was the search of the relevant Greek and English language articles in databases (pub-med and CI-NAHL) with keywords “family-centered care”, “family-centered services”, “prem* neonates” “parents “experiences”, “parents perceptions” in all possible combinations. Results: The search resulted in 7 studies, over the period 2017-2023, that met the predefined criteria with results that generally agree on the usefulness of the proposed intervention. Most of the studies find a statistically significant difference in the positive perceptions of parents who received family-centered care. A statistically significant difference was found for parent support from nursing staff Conclusions: The intervention of family-centered care, receives positive impressions from parents and relatives of premature newborns hospitalized in NICUs. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Η οικογενειοκεντρική φροντίδα ορίζεται ως η προσέγγιση όπου προωθείται η συμμετοχή των γονέων στον προγραμματισμό και στην παροχή φροντίδας του βρέφους τους το οποίο νοσηλεύεται στις Μονάδες Εντατικής Νοσηλείας Νεογνών. Η υιοθέτηση της συγκεκριμένης παρέμβασης σε διάφορες χώρες του κόσμου υποδεικνύει την ανάγκη για περαιτέρω μελέτη της ώστε να διαφανεί κατά πόσο είναι βοηθητική ή όχι. Σκοπός: Η παρούσα βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση έχει ως σκοπό τη διερεύνηση των εμπειριών και των απόψεων των γονέων πρόωρων νεογνών που νοσηλεύτηκαν στην Μονάδα Εντατικής Νοσηλείας Νεογνών και έλαβαν οικογενειοκεντρική φροντίδα. Υλικό και Μέθοδος: Η μέθοδος που χρησιμοποιήθηκε ήταν η αναζήτηση της σχετικής ελληνικής και αγγλικής βιβλιογραφίας στις βάσεις δεδομένων (Pub-med και CI-NAHL) με λέξεις κλειδιά “family- centered care”, “family-centered services”, “prem* neonates” “parents experiences”, “parents perceptions" σε όλους τους πιθανούς συνδυασμούς. Αποτελέσματα: Η αναζήτηση κατέληξε σε 7 μελέτες, κατά την περίοδο 2017-2023, που πληρούσαν τα προκαθορισμένα κριτήρια με αποτελέσματα που γενικά συμφωνούν στη χρησιμότητα της προτεινόμενης παρέμβασης. Οι πλύστες έρευνες βρίσκουν στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά τις θετικές αντιλήψεις των γονέων που έλαβαν φροντίδα με επίκεντρο την οικογένεια. Στατιστικά σημαντική διαφορά παρουσιάστηκε για την στήριξη των γονέων από το νοσηλευτικό προσωπικό. Συμπεράσματα: Η παρέμβαση της οικογενειοκεντρικής φροντίδας, συγκεντρώνει θετικές εντυπώσεις από τους γονείς και τους οικείους των πρόωρων νεογνών που νοσηλεύονται στις ΜΕΝΝ. | en_US |
