| dc.description | The absence of a visual communication approach on the awareness for the reduction of disposable plastic objects and the lack of information in Cyprus were the re asons for the writer researcher to create a design campaign aimed at young people in Cypriot society. This dissertation aimed to develop an effective and creative campaign against disposable plastic items to raise awareness and share related information. T o achieve this campaign, a literature review on the effects of disposable plastics on the environment and health was conducted in the first phase. It refers to the impact on European seas and Cyprus and examines statistics abroad and at home. The methodolo gy adopted is action research with students, aged 18 25 years. A double data collection method was applied to achieve triangulation and the tools used were individual observation and questionnaires. The completion of the action research helped the research er gather observations. This thesis concludes with important suggestions for the future improvement of the campaign. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η απουσία μια νέας ματιάς στην ευαισθητοποίησης για την μείωση πλαστικών αντικειμένων μιας χρήσης αλλά και η έλλειψή ενημέρωσης στην Κύπρο ήταν η αφορμή για την γράφουσα – ερευνήτρια στην δημιουργία μιας σχεδιαστική καμπάνια η οποία απευθύνεται σε νέους της Κυπριακής κοινωνίας. Στόχος αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας ήταν να αναπτυχθεί μια αποτελεσματική και δημιουργική καμπάνια ενάντια των πλαστικών αντικειμένων μιας χρήσης με σκοπό την ευαισθητοποίηση και την ενημέρωση. Για την επίτευξη της καμπάνιας αυτής, πραγματοποιήθηκε σε πρώτη φάση μια βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση με θέμα τις επιπτώσεις των πλαστικών μιας χρίσης στο περιβάλλον και την υγεία. Γίνετε αναφορά σε επιπτώσεις των Ευρωπαϊκών θαλασσών, επιπτώσεις στην Κύπρο και στατιστικά στο εξωτερικό και εσωτερικό. Η μεθοδολογία που υιοθέτησε η γράφουσα της εργασίας αυτής είναι η έρευνας δράσης με φοιτητές, ηλικίας 18-25 ετών κυρίως από την σχολή καλών και εφαρμοσμένων τεχνών. Για την συλλογή των δεδομένων εφαρμόστηκε μια διπλή διασταύρωση διαφορετικών μεθόδων συλλογής δεδομένων ώστε να εφαρμοστεί «τριγωνοποίηση». Τα εργαλεία που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν η ατομική παρατήρηση και τα ερωτηματολόγια. Η ολοκλήρωση της έρευνας δράσης βοήθησαν την ερευνήτρια να συγκεντρώσει παρατηρήσεις, σημαντικά συμπεράσματα και εισηγήσεις για μελλοντική βελτίωση της καμπάνιας. | en_US |
