| dc.description | This particular senior thesis purpose is to present a business plan for a small-scale hotel in the island Mykonos in Greece. Shows how the unit can be turned into the key of tourist attraction, for tourists looking for something different for their holidays. Initially, data has been collected on the area where the company will operate, and some key features of the island have also been listed. Furthermore, the basic features that will make this hotel stand out and finally show its competitive nature, will be explored thoroughly. In addition, an attempt is made to explain the conversion of four buildings into a hotel unit through an extended economic analysis that will show the viability of the business. Finally, the risks that could make it difficult to carry out the business plan, are examined. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η συγκεκριμένη πτυχιακή εργασία έχει ως στόχο να αναδείξει ένα επιχειρηματικό σχέδιο για μια μικρή ξενοδοχειακή μονάδα στο νησί της Μυκόνου στην Ελλάδα. Παρουσιάζεται το πώς η μονάδα θα μπορέσει να μετατραπεί σε βασικό πόλο έλξης τουριστών που αναζητούν κάτι διαφορετικό για τις διακοπές τους. Αρχικά, μελετώνται στοιχεία για τον τόπο που θα δραστηριοποιείται η επιχείρηση και κάποια βασικά χαρακτηριστικά του νησιού. Επίσης, εμφανίζονται τα βασικά χαρακτηριστικά που θα κάνουν την μονάδα να ξεχωρίζει και τελικά μπορούν να αναδείξουν τα ανταγωνιστικά της πλεονεκτήματα. Επιπλέον, πραγματοποιείται μια προσπάθεια εξήγησης της μετατροπής τεσσάρων κτιρίων σε μετατροπή ξενοδοχειακής μονάδας μέσω μιας εκτενούς ανάλυσης των οικονομικών δεικτών που θα δείξουν την βιωσιμότητα της επιχείρησης. Τέλος, εξετάζονται οι κίνδυνοι που θα μπορούσαν να δυσκολέψουν την πραγματοποίηση του επιχειρηματικού σχεδίου. | en_US |
