Η ανάγκη για πληροφόρηση και εξαγωγή συμπερασμάτων για άμεση επέμβαση για την αποφυγή της εξάπλωσης της μόλυνσης είναι μια ακόμη αναγκαιότητα της σύγχρονης εποχής. Το διαδίκτυο είναι ένα πλέον διαδεδομένο εργαλείο το οποίο μπορεί να βοηθήσει στην σωστή και έγκαιρη ενημέρωση για αυτό και αναπτύχθηκαν πολλές σελίδες που ασχολήθηκαν με τα περιβαλλοντικά δεδομένα των ελευθέρων περιοχών της Κύπρου. Οι διαδικτυακές σελίδες που ασχολούνται με τα Κυπριακά δεδομένα παρέχουν αρκετή ενημέρωση αλλά και κάποιες ελλείψεις, ιδιαίτερα όσον αφορά την παρουσίαση των περιβαλλοντικών δεδομένων. Στόχος της παρούσας πτυχιακής ήταν η ανάπτυξη μιας περιβαλλοντικής σελίδας η οποία θα εξαλείψει τις αδυναμίες των υφιστάμενων σελίδων με την προσθήκη νέων λειτουργιών. H παρούσα πτυχιακή βρίσκεται εντός των πλαισίων του έργου STEAM και ο κύριος της στόχος είναι η ανάπτυξη χάρτη και γραφικών παραστάσεων αναπαράστασης περιβαλλοντικών δεδομένων. Τα δεδομένα παραλαμβάνονται μέσω των κόμβων που παρέχει τα CUT air quality stations, Department of labor and inspection και Mereology department τα οποία προβάλλονται στην σελίδα του ΤΕΠΑΚ (Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου) CUT Air Quality. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας συμπεραίνουν ότι ανταποκρίθηκαν στον στόχο που τέθηκε έτσι, ελλείψεις και αδυναμίες που ήταν εμφανείς σε διαδικτυακές σελίδες μειώθηκαν ή εξαλείφθηκαν. | Description: | Knowledge of meteorological phenomena and infectious conditions in the air is one of the problems that concern modern man. The need for information and conclusions for immediate intervention to prevent the spread of infection is another necessity of modern times. The internet is a widespread tool that can help in the correct and timely information about it and many pages were developed that dealt with the environmental data of the free areas of Cyprus. The websites that deal with the Cypriot data provide a lot of information but also some shortcomings, especially regarding the presentation of the environmental data. The aim of this dissertation was to develop an environmental page that will eliminate the weaknesses of existing pages by adding new features. This dissertation is within the framework of the STEAM project and its main objective is the development of maps and graphs representing environmental data. The data are received through the nodes provided by the CUT air quality stations, Department of labor and inspection and Mereology department which are displayed on the page of TEPAK (Cyprus University of Technology) CUT Air Quality.
