| dc.description | The aim of this work is the detection of the sea tidal levels and the harmonic analysis of the annual sea level data according to the Limassol tide gauge, for the year 2020, using harmonic data analysis from the tide gauge. In addition, the process of calculating the coordinates of the Old Port area was possible by route solving the area around the tide gauge, in order to demarcate, while simultaneously determining the sea level tide from the reference point. Firstly, the literature review is presented to review similar cases, of how the methodology went on and what results emerged. Next, the main definitions that this work is based upon are mentioned and explained, as well as the change in sea level for the Mediterranean Sea and Aegean. Then, the measuring instruments are explained for each procedure that was implemented, why they were used and the reasons why that specific procedure was followed. In the following chapters, the methodology followed for this work is explained, in addition to the results that are obtained from each process. Finally, the results are commented, the conclusions displayed, how this work could be better implemented and what factors can be changed for a better interpretation of this work. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα εργασία, έχει ως σκοπό τον προσδιορισμό των παλιρροιακών επιπέδων της θάλασσας, αλλά και την ανάλυση ετήσιων δεδομένων της στάθμης της θάλασσας από τον ολοκληρωμένο παλιρροιογράφο της Λεμεσού και για το έτος 2020, με τη βοήθεια αρμονικής ανάλυσης των μετρήσεων που καταγράφει ο παλιρροιογράφος. Ταυτόχρονα, επιτεύχθηκε η διαδικασία εύρεσης των συντεταγμένων της περιοχής του Παλιού Λιμανιού της Λεμεσού, με τη διαδικασία επίλυσης όδευσης και την εύρεση των συντεταγμένων κάθε άγνωστου σημείου γύρω από τον παλιρροιογράφο, ώστε να οριστεί η περιοχή γύρω από αυτόν και να μπορούν ταυτόχρονα να ορίζονται και οι μετρήσεις του παλιρροιογράφου από το σημείο αναφοράς. Αρχικά, γίνεται αναφορά σε βιβλιογραφική ανασκόπηση για παρόμοιες περιπτώσεις στον κόσμο, πως επιλύθηκαν και τι αποτελέσματα προέκυψαν. Ακολούθως, αναφέρονται οι βασικοί ορισμοί που εμπίπτουν στην εργασία αυτή και οι μεταβολές της στάθμης της θάλασσας στην Μεσόγειο, αλλά και στο Αιγαίο. Έπειτα, εξηγούνται τα όργανα μέτρησης για κάθε διαδικασία που υλοποιήθηκε, γιατί χρησιμοποιήθηκαν τα συγκεκριμένα και τους λόγους που ακολούθησαν οι επόμενες διαδικασίες. Στα επόμενα κεφάλαια, επεξηγείται η μεθοδολογία που ακολουθήθηκε για την εργασία αυτή και παρουσιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα που προέκυψαν από κάθε διεργασία. Τέλος, σχολιάζονται τα αποτελέσματα, ποια τα συμπεράσματα και πως θα μπορούσε η εργασία αυτή να υλοποιηθεί καλύτερα, αλλά και ποιοι παράγοντες μπορούν να μεταβληθούν για την καλύτερη ερμηνεία της εργασίας αυτής. | en_US |
