dc.descriptionObjective: To summarize the effectiveness of mirror therapy (MT) in limb motor functions of stroke patients or brain-injured patient with Hemiparesis. Methods:Systematic review conducted in Pubmed and CINAHL from January to April 2020. The words used during the search where "mirror therapy" or "mirror box" or "mirror visual feedback" AND "brain-injured patient" or stroke or "cerebrovascular accident" or cva NOTS ystematic review or meta-analysis. We found 11 relevant quantitative articles. Results:Most of the articles found significant relations between MT and limb function especially in combination with other therapies. Conclusions:These results are not enough to conclude that MT should replace or is always better than physiotherapy.en_US
dc.description.abstractΣκοπός:Είναιη διερεύνηση της αποτελεσματικότητα της θεραπείας με καθρέπτη (ΚΘ) σε ασθενείς με ημιπάρεση που υπέστησαν εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο ή τραυματισμό εγκεφάλου. Μέθοδος:Συστηματική ανασκόπηση που έγινε στις βάσεις δεδομένων Pubmed και CINAHL από τον Ιανουάριομέχρι και τον Απρίλιο του 2020. Οι λέξεις που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν ήταν: "mirrorherapy" or "mirrorbox" or "mirrorvisualfeedback" AND "brain-injuredpatient" orstrokeor "cerebrovascular accident" or cva NOTS ystematic review or meta-analysis. Κατά την διάρκεια της έρευνας βρέθηκαν 11 σχετικές μελέτες οι οποίες ήταν όλες ποιοτικές. Αποτελέσματα:Οι πλύστες έρευνες βρίσκουν στατιστικά σημαντικά αποτελέσματαως προς τη λειτουργικότητα των άκρων,ειδικότερα σε συνδυασμό με άλλες θεραπείες. Συμπεράσματα:Τα στοιχεία αυτά όμως δεν είναι αρκετά ισχυρά για την αντικατάσταση της φυσιοθεραπείας μόνο με ΚΘ ή για να οριστείως η καταλληλότερη θεραπεία.en_US
