| dc.description | Introduction: Pressure sores are an unpleasant reality in modern nursing. In addition to their physical effects, they are considered one of the most expensive diseases. As much as the care provided has improved, there are other factors that make it difficult to solve the problem permanently. It is considered necessary to upgrade the level of health services. Aim: The main purpose of the current study was to investigate the knowledge and attitudes of nurses concerning pressure ulcers. Material and methods: For the preparation of the paper information was found from surveys, articles and journals related to the subject of pressure ulcers. The search of the Greek and international literature databases (Pubmed, Medline, Google Scholar). The search resulted in 25 articles. A total of 10 studies were included in the review. Results: The results show a serious lack of knowledge from the nurses who participated in the research. There is also a positive attitude of nurses towards the prevention of pressure ulcers. Conclusions: It is clear that through continuing training of nurses there is the possibility of gaining sufficient knowledge about the prevention of pressure ulcers which will gradually become the most basic measure against pressure ulcers. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Εισαγωγή: Τα έλκη πίεσης σήμερα είναι μια δυσάρεστη πραγματικότητα στην σύγχρονη νοσηλευτική που καλείται να βρει τους τρόπους για να τα αντιμετωπίσει. Εκτός των σωματικών τους επιπτώσεων, αποτελούν και μια από τις πιο δαπανηρές ασθενείς. Όσο και αν έχει αναβαθμιστεί η παρεχόμενη φροντίδα, υπάρχουν και άλλοι παράγοντες οι οποίοι δυσκολεύουν την οριστική επίλυση του προβλήματος. Απαραίτητη θεωρείται η αναβαθμίσει του επιπέδου παροχής υπηρεσιών υγείας. Σκοπός : Ο κύριος στόχος της παρούσας εργασίας ήταν διερεύνηση των γνώσεων και των στάσεων των νοσηλευτών σε σχετικά με τα έλκη πίεσης. Υλικό μέθοδος: Για την δημοσίευση της συγκεκριμένης εργασίας χρησιμοποιήθηκαν πληροφορίες από έρευνες, βιβλία, επιστημονικά άρθρα και εφημερίδες σχετικά με την πρόληψη των κατακλίσεων. Η αναζήτηση της Ελληνικής και διεθνούς βιβλιογραφίας έγινε στις βάσεις δεδομένων(Pubmed, Medline, Google Scholar). Η αναζήτηση κατέληξε σε 25 άρθρων. Στην ανασκόπηση συμπεριελήφθησαν συνολικά 10 μελέτες. Αποτελέσματα: Τα αποτελέσματα δείχνουν μια σοβαρή έλλειψη γνώσεων από τους νοσηλευτές που συμμετείχαν στις έρευνες. Επίσης, παρουσιάζεται μια θετική στάση των νοσηλευτών απέναντι στην πρόληψη των ελκών πίεσης. Συμπεράσματα: Είναι σαφές ότι μέσω της συνεχιζόμενης εκπαίδευσης των νοσηλευτών υπάρχει η δυνατότητα απόκτησης επαρκών γνώσεων για τα έλκη πίεσης σταδιακά θα αποτελέσει το βασικότερο μέτρο έναντι των ελκών πίεσης. | en_US |
